  1. GDPR : General Data Protection Regulation
  2. Data Processing : Any operation performed on personal data, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation, alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure, or destruction.
  3. Personal Data : Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
  4. Data Controller : Entity or natural person who determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data.
  5. Data Processor : Entity or natural person who processes personal data on behalf of the data controller.
  6. Consent : Freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous indication of the data subject’s wishes by which they, by a statement or by a clear affirmative action, signify agreement to the processing of personal data relating to them.
  7. Right to Erasure : Right for an individual to request the deletion or removal of personal data.
  8. Data Portability : Right for an individual to obtain and reuse their personal data for their own purposes across different services.
  9. Data Breach : A breach of security leading to the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure of, or access to, personal data.
  10. Supervisory Authority : Independent public authority tasked with monitoring compliance with the GDPR within its jurisdiction.
