Sophie-Hélène holds a doctorate in Information and Communication Sciences and is a member of the CREM – Centre de recherche sur les médiations, Université de Lorraine. Her research is related to intercultural communication within the context of promoting the immigration of French citizens in Quebec.
Within the Centre Virchow-Villermé, Sophie-Hélène Goulet was in charge of the pedagogical engineering and project management of the MOOCs. Sophie-Helene GOULETworked as a communication and media coordinator for the Université Paris-Sorbonne LabEx RESMED (Religions and Societies in the Mediterranean) and worked for thirteen years at the Délégation générale du Québec à Paris for the Immigration Office. Sophie-Hélène also studied the migration phenomena between Africa and Quebec, the management of religious and cultural diversity, and crisis communication.
